ORDER OF PUBLICATION

The object of this suit is to enforce the lien of the Complainant, County of Pittsylvania, Virginia, for delinquent real estate taxes against certain real property located in the County of Pittsylvania, Virginia, described as follows:

Tax Map No. 2415-48-4944

Account No. 161564

All of that certain tract or parcel of real estate lying and being in Pittsylvania County, Virginia adjoining the lands, now or formerly owned by, Alice Thompson, Floyd Hunt, et als, which was conveyed to J.H. Graves by Joseph Whitehead and E.C. Hurt, Jr., Trustees, by deeds of March 19, 1926 and recorded in the Clerk’s Office of Pittsylvania County, Virginia in Deed Book 192, Page 335 and containing one and one-fourth (1-1/4) acre, more or less.

And being the same real property conveyed to Berkley Pannell and Eliza Pannell from W.G. Vansant, Special Commissioner, via Deed dated October 9,1951 and recorded July 6, 1951 among the records of the Pittsylvania County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office in the Deed Book 345 at Page 214.

And further being the same real property conveyed to Donnell Smith from Pearl P. Rose via Deed of Gift dated April 13, 2001 and recorded April 13, 2001 among the records of the Pittsylvania County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 1235 at Page 863.

This description is made subject to all easements, conditions, agreements, restrictions and reservations of record which affect the property herein described including but not limited to those recorded in Deed Book 338 at Page 265.

IT APPEARING that an Affidavit has been made and filed stating that due diligence has been used, without effect, to ascertain the identity and location of certain parties to be served, that the last known addresses for the Respondents herein are as follows: Cathline Carter, whose last known address is unknown; Nannie Pannell Williams, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 123 Kearney Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey 07305; Johnnie Edward Pannell, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 2402 Main Street, Hurt, Virginia 2402 Main Street, Hurt, Virginia 24563; Convie Pannell, whose last known address is unknown; George Pannell, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address in 31 Virginia Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey 07304; and that any officers, heirs, devisees, and successors in title of the Respondent named herein are made parties Respondent to this action individually and/or by the general description of Parties Unknown, it is here by

ORDERED that the parties herein and all Parties Unknown and/or whose location cannot be ascertained on or before March 10, 2020 in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the County of Pittsylvania, Virginia, and do what may be necessary to protect their interest in this cause.
