Landon Spradlin

Landon Spradlin plays guitar in Jackson Square, New Orleans during Mardi Gras 2020. On the way back to Gretna from New Orleans, Spradlin was hospitalized due to COVID-19.

A Gretna man that was fighting for his life in a hospital in Concord, North Carolina after testing positive for COVID-19 and double pneumonia has passed away. According to a post on the Landon Spradlin Music Facebook page, the site reported  "It's with a broken heart that I announce Landon Spradlin passed away at 4:29 a.m. EST. We will see him again in the other side of glory. Thank you for standing with us. #PrayersForSprad"

Spradlin grew up in Chatham and went to Hargrave Military Academy where his father was a teacher. After moving back to the area in 2007, the Spradlins started a church in Gretna on Main Street called The Move, where they pastored until December 2019. The Spradlins closed the church then, and moved on to a traveling ministry.
