On Thursday morning, Chatham's Secret Cupid made their way down the halls of Chatham Health and Rehabilitation Center, passing out Valentine's Day gifts to the residents.

Cupid handed out 60 roses, 35 mylar balloons and more than 200 cards.

This was a part of Cupid's Joyous Holidays program, in which they visit the center for every holiday to spread cheer, from Valentine's Day to St. Patrick's Day to Thanksgiving.

Cupid said the program is meant to be an encouragement for the residents, who often have little contact with the outside world.

"It offers year-round encouragement for residents," they said. "...It shows that people in the community really do care about them."
