Coronavirus update

Update 2:56 p.m.: A man in the Danville Pittsylvania Health District is confirmed to have been one of the three new deaths reported today by the Virginia Department of Health. 

Original story: The Virginia Department of Health released the latest numbers regarding COVID-19 cases in Virginia.

As of noon today, there are 391 confirmed cases in Virginia, over 100 more cases in the last 24 hours, 59 hospitalizations, and nine deaths.

There are two reported cases in Danville, with none still reported for Pittsylvania County.  Both Halifax and Franklin County report one case, with Bedford County reporting two.
