Onis Darnell Moon, 53, appeared in Danville Circuit Court and plead guilty to capital murder and malicious wounding Monday, Nov. 18 before Judge James Reynolds. 

As part of a plea agreement, Moon will not face the death penalty when he is sentenced in Jan. 2020.

On Nov. 7, 2018 Moon stabbed Valean Ferrell Barley, 87, and Royal Douglas Barley, 83, to death after beating their daughter, Sandra Callands.
