A back-to-school community day was held in the Five Forks neighborhood on Saturday, Sept. 7, complete with games, a bouncy house, food, free haircuts, face painting and more. Organizer Mary Massie Barnes with the group Love in Action said the event was to show that everyone in the community is family. “You are special,” Barnes said. “You are loved and cared for.”
