The 19th annual "Run for Justice" is scheduled for Saturday, July 18 at Angler's Park-River Walk Trail in Danville.

The 5K run/walk starts at 8:30 a.m. on the River Walk Trail. The Kids' 2K event starts at 9 a.m., followed by the 10K run, which starts at 10 a.m.

Race flyers have been mailed via the Danville Running and Fitness Club and are also available at The Brick Running Store, 410 Main St. in Danville.

Runners and walkers can also register on active.com or on the Running and Fitness website.

The 10K running course has been adjusted because of storm damage to the River Walk Trail. COVID-19 restrictions apply to all "Run for Justice" events and are outlined in the race flyer.

There is no late race day registration. Registration must be received by July 10 to guarantee a shirt. Kid's 2K participants will not receive a shirt.  For further information about the annual "Run for Justice", contact the race director at jbwilt@yahoo.com.
