Peggy went to be with our Lord on Wednesday evening September 9th, 2020 in McKinney, Texas. She was born in Lynchburg, Va on September 26th, 1936, the daughter of the late Elbert Lewis “Bert” Farries and Dorothy Inge Farries.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, Larry Alton Lackey. Peggy also, recently lost her sister, Mable Short. She is survived by two daughters, Luellan Cash and spouse Louie Cash, Jr. of Aubrey Texas, Rebecca Watson and spouse Jack Watson, Jr. of Virginia, four grand-children, Deke Cash and his wife Kelsey of Aubrey, Texas, Lindsey Cash of Aubrey, Texas, Jackson Watson of Waynesboro, Virginia, and Jacob Watson of Staunton, Virginia. Three great grand-daughters, Leila Shifflett, Hadley and Lucy Cash all of Aubrey, Texas. Peggy is also survived by her siblings, Rosemary Seamster, Lewis Farries, and Pamela Atkins.

Peggy had spent most of her last forty years in sunny Sarasota, Florida, living and working alongside her husband Larry. They were truly an inseparable couple.

Peggy’s daughters would be grateful if you would consider honoring their mom by supporting The Parkinson’s Foundation.
