Joey as he was know to family and friends and Joe to the rest of the world passed away at his home on October 3, 2018 after a long illness, the same date of passing as his mother just a short 5 years earlier. He is predeceased by his parents Allen Wilbur and Frances Durham Reynolds, grandparents Charlie and Annie Reynolds and David and Nannie Durham and several aunts and uncles.

Joey joined the Marines at age 18 and traveled to many different places during his stint and after his discharge he settled in Yuma Arizona with his family where he remained until his death. He donated his body to science and his ashes will be scattered on Turckeycock Mountain where he roamed and worked during his growing up years.

He left behind to mourn his passing wife Jenifer, children Brandon (Jessica), Eliza (Nickie) (Brian) Johnston, Sheena (Jeremy) Vaccaro, and Brent, sisters Teresa (Sam), Lori (Bobby) Irby and Tonya (Dale Trammell) Myers, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

There will be a Celebration of life July 13, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Callands Volunteer Fire Department, inĀ  Callands. There will be a Breaking of Bread immediately afterwards and the family respectfully request that a covered dish be brought to be shared with all.
