To the editor:

There is much to do about this Coronavirus pandemic worldwide. Some countries and states are affected by it more than others.

No doubt the virus is a concern to the health of people; however, it is being blown out of proportion. An example is that according to the U.S. deaths from Jan. 22, 2020 through March 17, 2020 is 27 from COVID-19; 4,700 from the flu; and 118,000 from abortions. I guess since abortions are not considered contagious this cause of death is irrelevant.

I realize as of this writing there are many more recorded deaths from COVID-19; however, it is a known fact that many deaths are recorded as COVID-19 when they are not. Even Dr. Birx stated this in one of President Trump’s news conferences.

As a result of the “Stay At Home” order by the governors the suicide rate; child and spousal abuse; alcohol and drug abuse has increased dramatically. Unemployment is running through the roof and many small businesses will go bankrupt and many will not recover.

If you wish to know more about this virus there are two excellent videos on You Tube by doctors who know what is happening. To view these go to Google and (1) type in Dr. Rashid Buttar Blasts Gates, Fauci video on You Tube. When there go to: Exclusive: Dr. Rashid Buttar Blasts Gates-You Tube. The other is:

Go to Google and type in Breaking: This ER Doctor Just Nuked Fauci’s Pandemic Fraud.

Now, to the question should I or should I not. I’m speaking of religious freedom here. As a result of this “Stay At Home” order very few churches are holding worship services. Those that do are conducting them with people in their vehicles in the church parking lot. These are to be commended.

The Constitution of the United States Amendment 1 prohibits Congress, let alone governors, to abridge the right of people to assemble for worship service.

Should we or should we not obey the government authorities in this regard? We are allowed to feed our physical bodies by going to the grocery store and liquor store but can’t feed our spiritual bodies by attending worship services? Since Christians should use the Bible (God’s Word) as their road map in this life what does God’s Word say? There are many examples of Jesus and the Apostles defying the authorities but here are a few.

Jesus called the scribes and Pharisees hypocrits; he threw out the money changers from the temple; and he called King Herod a fool.

In Acts 5:27-29 when the council and high priest told Peter and the other Apostles not to teach in Jesus name this is their response “Then Peter and the other Apostles answered and said we ought to obey God rather than men”.

Too many Christians are bowing down to Satan and his angels. When Satan says “Boo” they go into hibernation. When Jesus says come they say “What”? The batteries in my hearing aid just went dead”.

Christians it is time to wake up and tell Satan to go fly a kite and you will supply the tail and string. Every thing you do and say in this life is either for God and Jesus Christ or for Satan and his angels.
