Details for Town Council of Gretna: December public hearing
NOTICE
On Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., the Town Council of Gretna, Virginia will hold a joint public hearing with the Planning Commission of the Town of Gretna in the Town Hall of the Town of Gretna, Virginia at 107 South Shelton Street, to consider public comment on three (3) applications requesting approval of proposed ordinances allowing the rezoning from R-1 (Residential) to B-1(Business) of three (3) parcels of real estate, to-wit:
1. A parcel of real estate owned by applicant, Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Inc., more fully described in Deed Book 871 page 256 in the Pittsylvania County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, with the said parcel being located at 102 South Music Street, in the Town of Gretna and with the said parcel being designated by GPIN Number 2530-18-6184.
2. A parcel of real estate owned by applicant, Moe, Inc., more fully described in Deed Book 1065, page 218 in the Pittsylvania County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, with the said parcel being located at 307 North Main Street, in the Town of Gretna and with the said parcel being designated by GPIN Number 2530-18-8115.
3. A parcel of real estate owned by applicant, Moe, Inc., more fully described in Deed Book 1065, page 218 in the Pittsylvania County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, with the said parcel being described as Lot 4 located on Colbert Street, in the Town of Gretna.
The public is invited to attend and comment on the proposed passage of the aforesaid Ordinance amending the Town Zoning Map which shall be considered for adoption by the Town Council at the conclusion of the public hearing. Copies of the application for rezoning and the proposed ordinance for rezoning are available for public inspection at the Town Hall of Gretna, Virginia.
