Inframark, Chatham's contracted water and sewer service provider, reports that water service will be temporarily cut off in a small part of Tightsqueeze on Monday.
According to Tim Hammell, director of Inframark's Chatham division, the area on Tightsqueeze Road west of Chatham High School up to and including the Tightsqueeze Industrial Park is planned to be without water for approximately three hours on Monday, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Hammell says there is a leak on a fire hydrant at the corner of the industrial park road and Tightsqueeze Road and that the town has contracted Riddle Excavators to replace the hydrant.
Residents and businesses within the area should prepare to be without running water during that time period.
