Blairs Fire and Rescue responded to a report of the structure fire at 600 North Pointe Lane Saturday.
First unit arrived to find heavy fire and smoke showing from the third floor apartments. An attack was made into the apartments and the fire was brought under control in approximately one hour.
There was extensive fire and water damage to several apartments.
The Red Cross was called in to assist families with relocation. Blairs EMS treated two patients for smoke inhalation and transported one to SOVAH of Danville in stable condition.
Blairs responded with two engines, a command vehicle and two ambulances.
Blairs was assisted by Ringgold Fire and Rescue, Mt. Hermon Fire and Rescue, Kentuck Fire Department, Dry Fork Fire Department, Chatham Fire Department, Tunstall Fire and Rescue and Gretna Fire and Rescue.
